Teachers across the state feel cheated

But the government squarely blamed the teachers for the postponement of exams. What is your answer to that
* A teacher will never do anything that is against the interest of the students. The boycott could have been avoided but the government did not even invite us for any discussion. All state government policies are aimed at reducing the talent in higher education while all the UGC notifications are aimed at attracting and retaining talented teachers in government colleges.

Defense attorney: Highway workers cheated Haverhill, not Flahertys

HAVERHILL — Investigators say much of their criminal case against former Highway Superintendent James Flaherty is built on agents’ observations that city workers paved driveways for Flaherty’s private company while on city time.

That is a prime way Flaherty broke the law and cheated the city, according to the government’s case.

In fact, Flaherty’s lawyer acknowledges the city employees were working for Flaherty’s company sometimes during their regular workday, as investigators say.
